Breana Williams is a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, providing services in Raleigh, NC. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from North Carolina Central University, a Masters’ degree in Criminal Justice at Liberty University, and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University.
Breana has gained a variety of experience in the mental health field, working in substance abuse programs, community-based agencies, inpatient treatment facilities, and private practice. Additionally, she has served as a Guardian Ad Litem, and volunteered many service hours with domestic violence shelters.
Breana’s therapy approach is to provide client-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive counseling. She utilizes an integrative approach, pulling from Cognitive Behavior Therapy, client-centered methods, and dialectical behavior therapies.
Currently serving women and adolescents aged 12 and up in the areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, family issues, personality disorders, and more. Limited couples counseling availability. Breana believes it is important to recognize and trust in human potential. She is committed to establishing a safe therapeutic alliance with clients and working collaboratively with them to help them on their path of change.
