Morgan is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate located in Raleigh, NC. She is originally from Greensboro, NC. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2012 and her Master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling from North Carolina Central University in 2016. She has worked with adults, children, and families from various demographics, with and without mental illness since 2016. She is also a Professional School Counselor with 6 years of education experience across all age groups.
She enjoys working with at-risk youth, individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, familial changes, life transitions, positive parenting practices, as well as students challenged in school. She also offers educational consulting including college counseling to guide students through the college application process.
Morgan’s counseling approach is primarily Solution- Focused Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Although she leans on particular theories, counseling is not a “one size fits all” model and therefore, counseling sessions will be tailored to meet the client’s individual needs. Morgan is passionate about the work and art of therapy as it is a very personal process. It is educational and developmental by nature. Her goal is to help people meet their desired goals by walking alongside of her clients during their journey.
